Bug-A-Salt 3.0, Bug-A-Salt, United States
Every summer house should have one responsible adult and one Bug-A-Salt. Invented by Lorenzo Maggiore and launched in 2012, the Bug-A-Salt uses ordinary table salt to dispatch flies from a distance, replacing chemical sprays with a tiny dose of absurdity. The 3.0 version introduced a tighter salt pattern, improved accuracy, a redesigned trigger, and a safety mechanism. It is one of the few products that routinely elicits the response: “Wait, what is that?”
