Handmade canvas chukkas from the Asahi, the Japanese shoemaker that has been making shoes since 1892. They manufactured sneakers for Nike in the 1970s and still produce in Kurume using traditional vulcanization techniques.
Available in Japanese sizes 23–29 cm / US Women’s 6–12 / US Men’s 5–11 Shoes run large; many wearers size down by a half to a full size.
