Night Shirt

Night Shirt, P. Le Moult, France

Looks great with a hangover or walking down the driveway for the papers.

J. Peterman lovers, BUCKLE UP.

Eugène Le Moult (1882–1967) was a real French naturalist, explorer, entomologist, businessman, and arguably the most famous butterfly hunter of his era. He employed teams of collectors, supplying museums and private collectors around the world, and building one of the largest butterfly collections on earth.

His adventures fueled storytelling for Paris Match and Tintin.

The patterns and silhouettes from P. Le Moult are pulled directly from things he wore moving between French Guiana, Paris, ocean liners, tropical heat, jungle expeditions, and Atlantic crossings.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang or lay flat to dry. The lightweight cotton softens beautifully with wear and washing. Avoid bleach and high heat drying, which may weaken the fibers and diminish the crisp hand of the fabric over time.
