Bug-A-Salt 3.0, Bug-A-Salt, United States
“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf”
– George Orwell
This is a PASSION PROJECT. Protect your food, family, and health when you arrive at someoneʼs country place for the weekend and kill. Load it with salt and can drop pesty flies gathering by the lights in the kitchen at 20 feet. Not for kids! But the show is.
Invented by Lorenzo Maggiore and launched in 2012, the Bug-A-Salt uses ordinary table salt to dispatch flies from a distance, replacing chemical sprays with a tiny dose of absurdity. The 3.0 version introduced a tighter salt pattern, improved accuracy, a redesigned trigger, and a safety mechanism.
Highly recommend giving the review section on bugasalt.com a gander. Hereʼs one:
"Four stars. Great fly killer.
This was my 6th Bug-A-Salt purchase . First one finally broke after several years of use. I have one in the house, one on the patio, 2 were sent to my Kids for their families to use and now the new one is headed for the RV. I do like that the newer ones shoot a larger amount of salt as sometimes my aim is off a little. Last year I actually knocked down a Yellow Jacket Wasp (don't recommend shooting wasps) as is flew by and it took 3 more point blank shots to kill it but it will take down a wasp and will completely obliterate mosquitos.
